We are a trade printer for distributors and brokers using Commercial, Offset, Digital & Wide Format technologies. We offer superior service for many custom printed products like checks letterhead, invoices, statements, flyers, brochures, business cards, posters, yard signs, banners, etc.
David J. and E. Cleoris Braland bought the Roland Record, a small town newspaper located in Roland, Iowa in January, 1972. They produced the local newspaper along with some commercial printing. Their sales goal for the first year was $16,000.
In 1983 it was apparent that there was a need for a short-run manufacturer in the continuous forms business. That, combined with the poor condition of the agricultural economy, led the Company to switch its focus to continuous forms. It purchased two experimental presses and began offering its continuous, cut sheet and snap out product lines that summer.
Record Printing Company was incorporated in the State of Iowa as Record Printing Company, Inc. of Story City on July 1, 1985.
In 1989 the Company built a 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art production facility in Story City.
On October 1, 1999, the Company changed from a closely held company to an ESOP. Dave and Cleoris Braland sold 100% of their stock to their employees.
Record Printing Company produces over 15,000 orders each year for over 400 distributors throughout the United States.
